Factors Affecting Sentinel Node Metastasis in Thin (T1) Cutaneous Melanomas: Development and External Validation of a Predictive Nomogram
In view of the observation that for thin melanomas (T1; ? 1 mm), regional node metastasis determined by sentinel node biopsy (SNB) is an important prognostic factor, researchers here investigated the determinants of sentinel node (SN) status for incorporation into an externally validated nomogram to better define patients with T1 disease for SNB.

Via this retrospective database review, researchers analyzed the demographics, treatment, as well as the survival of pediatric melanoma of the head and neck.
Prognostic significance of tumor size for primary invasive cutaneous melanoma: A population-based study, 2004-2016
Researchers investigated the independent prognostic worth of tumor size vs other clinical and pathologic characteristics of primary invasive cutaneous melanoma (CM) in this study with 28,593 patients with primary invasive CM who were identified from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program database from 2004 through 2016
