World first 3D skin scan to detect melanomas starts trials in Australia

New three-dimensional scanning technology that could save lives through the early detection and treatment of melanoma is set to be fired up across Australia.
More than 28,000 Australians are diagnosed with the deadly skin cancer each year and there is a grim average of 1,700 deaths.
