Warning signs of skin cancer to look out for as ‘risk triples after getting sunburn’

Sun seekers are being warned to take extra care during this week’s blistering UK heatwave – because sunburn can cause skin cancer.

According to Cancer Research UK, getting sunburnt just once every two years TRIPLES your risk of skin cancer.

And while we’re all no doubt out in the sun and enjoying the sizzling weather – which is expected to get even hotter in the coming days – the charity is urging people to check for signs of skin cancer if you’ve been caught out and ended up getting sunburn.
