Tanning products should be banned in Aus

Social media has seen an outpouring of love and support for the recent death of melanoma advocate Natalia Fornasier. But that sentiment coexists with the continued promotion of tanning products online.
Australia has the world’s highest rate of skin cancer. According to the Cancer Council, skin cancer accounts for 80 per cent of all newly diagnosed cancers in Australia and 15 per cent of all cancers in among Australians aged 15 to 29.
However, if you scroll through the feeds of those same young Aussies, you will notice the unregulated promotion of tanning products, tanning lines and tips for getting tanned from influencers and brands alike.
