After more than two decades travelling the globe with 60 Minutes, seasoned reporter Liz Hayes has seen it all – but there’s one story that still reduces her to tears.
“I’ll never forget Clare Oliver, a young girl who had developed melanoma from sunbeds,” Hayes tells 9Honey.
Oliver, from Melbourne, was diagnosed with the devastating skin cancer in 2003 – and believed it was caused by years of solarium use despite being assured they were completely safe.
