Serum folate and vitamin B12 levels in cutaneous melanoma

Researchers evaluated circulating vitamin B12 and folate levels in patients suffering from melanoma and compared them with other malignant tumors as well as healthy people.

They analyzed 98 skin melanoma cases, and found that relative to other cancers and healthy controls, similar circulating levels of vitamin B12 were present in patients suffering from melanoma.
