Rates of melanoma skin cancer rise much faster in men than in women

Cases of melanoma skin cancer have risen by 47 % among men in the last 10 years – and have risen 30% among women, according to data from Cancer Research UK.
And while the rate of deaths among women has dropped five per cent over the same time, the death rate among men has risen by eight per cent.
