MMP Showcase March 21st 2013

Last night the Melbourne Melanoma Project community gathered at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to hear the highlights of the project to date. Researchers from Petermac, the Ludwig Cancer Institute at Austin Health and the Victorian Melanoma Service at the Alfred hospital presented their work to an audience of patients, carers, scientists and medical professionals. The success of the MMP Consumer Reference Group was also well received. The evening culminated in the cutting of a delicious MMP cake to formally recognise the participation of 1000 patients in the project.
