Kim Barton and Richard Ryan join Jay’s Longest Melanoma March

Local sister and brother Kim Barton and Richard Ryan will make big strides for melanoma this May, when they join melanoma survivor Jay Allen’s epic 2000 kilometre walk from Adelaide to Sydney, in 50 days.
Jay’s Longest Melanoma March begins this month and will make its way to the Rollonin Cafe in Bowning on May 8, the day that Mrs Barton and Mr Ryan will join Mr Allen for the 37km stretch to Murrumbateman.
The walk will raise awareness and funds to find a cure for melanoma, the third most common cancer in Australia. The brother and sister are completing the challenge in memory of their father, who lost his life to the cancer in 2012.
