Are you interested in teaching our future doctors?

The Patient Teaching Association (PTA) program is managed by the Eastern Health Clinical School, part of the Monash University Medical School located at Eastern Health. Medical students having their clinical training at Eastern Health participate in this program to learn more about patient-centred care and peoples’ experience of living with a chronic condition.

We would like to invite melanoma patients to consider becoming Patient Teaching Associates, to teach the doctors of the future and to highlight the importance of improving diagnosis and early detection. It is also a chance to discuss the latest treatments and for the patient to share their personal experience of living with melanoma.

For more information visit the website Monash  University Medical School – Patient Teaching Associates and download the information flyer or contact the PTA Coordinator on 03 9091 8821 or via email pta.ehcs@monash.edu
