Melanoma Patients Australia

Melanoma Patients Australia connects melanoma patients, their families, carers and friends to a national network of support and information in Australia. In addition to basic information and physical support needs, MPA recognizes that patients have varying degrees of social, psychological, emotional and spiritual support requirements that are often harder to detect and effectively manage within standard health service models. MPA is unique in Australia in its recognition, and mission to address, the gap in patient-focused access to melanoma specific information, the psychological benefits of contact with fellow melanoma patients and survivors and the ability of patients, their families, friends and carers to gain emotional support through community hubs and information forums and online support.
