Source: MDLinx, March 2021
In this retrospective study, researchers sought to compare incidence and survival data of cutaneous melanoma (CM) between two neighbouring countries, Belgium (BE) and the Netherlands (NL).
From January 1, 2004, until December 31, 2016, data were obtained by the Belgian Cancer Registry and the Netherlands Cancer Registry.
Mucosal melanoma, in situ CM and melanoma in children from 0 to 14 years have been excluded.
