Source: MDLinx, April 2021
Researchers evaluated an updated polygenic risk score (PRS) for its performance in a population of older people, where melanoma incidence as well as cumulative ultraviolet radiation exposure is greatest.
In a prospective analysis of 12,712 persons in the ASPirin in Reducing Events in the Elderly trial, they evaluated a PRS for cutaneous melanoma consisting of 55 variants.
