Cancer Council hosts forum to support Gold Coast melanoma patients

THE Cancer Council will host a free information and support session to reach out to locals affected by Melenoma on the Gold Coast.

According to the Cancer Council Queensland, the Sunshine State is the skin cancer capital of the world, with Melanoma being the second most common cancer diagnosed on the Gold Coast.

More than 3600 Queenslanders are diagnosed with melanoma each year, and it is estimated that over 350,000 non-melanoma skin cancers are treated.
