AFL legend Dermott Brereton opens up about skin cancer ordeal

AFL Hall of Fame member and Hawks legend Dermott Brereton has laid bare his skin cancer battle in the hopes it will encourage others to get checked.
Brereton said he’d had two melanomas in his thigh and chest, which he had to get cut out, as well as a sun spot cancer in his eye.
Describing the ordeal to the Herald Sun, the five-time Hawks premiership hero said: “I’ve been through the wringer”.
