An estimated 100K melanomas will be diagnosed in 2024

It’s estimated that more than 100,000 melanomas will be diagnosed this year. That’s according to the American Cancer Society. While people with darker skin have a lower risk of this skin cancer, research shows it’s often not detected and diagnosed until a later stage, leading to lower survival rates.
