Australian Melanoma Skin Cancer Alliance (AMSCA)
The Australian Melanoma & Skin Cancer Alliance (AMSCA), formerly known as the Australian Melanoma Consumer Alliance, evolved from the Melbourne Melanoma Project Consumer Reference Group, now Melanoma Research Victoria. Initially created in 2012 to represent the voice of consumers, AMSCA membership has expanded over time alongside growth and evolution in the melanoma and skin cancer sectors.
Today AMSCA serves as a unified, sector-wide voice for the leading consumer, research and clinical organisations working to improve outcomes for people affected by melanoma and skin cancer.
Current members include:
- Melanoma Research Victoria
- Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging & Diagnosis
- Australian Melanoma Research Foundation
- Australasian College of Dermatologists
- Hunter Melanoma Foundation
- Melanoma Institute Australia (incorporating Melanoma Western Australia, Amie St Clair Melanoma Trust, and Skin Cancer Tasmania)
