Efficiency of detecting new primary melanoma among individuals treated in a high-risk clinic for skin surveillance

In this prospective cohort study involving 593 participants who were assessed as having a very high risk of melanoma from 2012 to 2018, researchers sought to investigate longer-term sustainability and expansion of the surveillance program to numerous practices, including a primary care skin cancer clinic setting. During follow-up, 1,513 lesions were excised, including 171 primary melanomas.
