On this Valentine’s Day cancerversary, it’s time to change the win or lose language of cancer

Valentine’s Day 2015. As I was towel drying my body after a shower, I caught a peek of my back in the mirror.
I noticed this huge mark that I hadn’t seen before. It was an odd-shaped mole. It looked exactly like the one in the above photo. Because I had been doing some research on the subject, I knew there was a good chance the mole was cancerous.
