When Leanne Weyer had a melanoma removed from her shoulder four years ago, she presumed she would be OK.
It was a matter of watch and wait. The mother of two took comfort in the positive outcome she had when she first had an in situ melanoma removed from her jaw in 2002.
“I figured this would be much the same and that I would be OK," Mrs Weyer said.
