Melanoma and other skin cancers generally develop from over-exposure to UV radiation. Each time unprotected skin is exposed to UV radiation from the sun or artificial changes take place in the structure of the cells. Phillip Clark speaks with two experts from the Melanoma Institute of Australia, Professor Georgina Long and Professor Richard Scolyer who reveal the scientific breakthroughs in treatment.
